Subdomains vs. Addon Domains

What is the difference?



  • Subdomain: blog.site.com. Uses a folder inside your main site. Good for sections of the same brand.

  • Addon Domain: newsite.com. A completely separate website with its own domain name, hosted on the same cPanel account.
