Adding an A Record

An A Record points a hostname to an IPv4 address.



  1. Go to cPanel > Zone Editor.

  2. Click + A Record next to your domain.

  3. Name: example.com. (Note the trailing dot)

  4. Address: Enter the server IP.

  5. Click Add an A Record.
